Reside on the Yidindji territory.
Provide a current (less than 6 months old) police background check
Provide state issued photo ID (passport, proof of age card or drivers licence)
Provide a passport style photo (headshot against a neutral background)

Pricing for a volunteer is currently (2025) $29.00 or thereabouts. The name of the organisation that you can put down to volunteer for is: ABRICULTURE ADVANCEMENT TRUST. You will not be required to work with elders or children, but possibly planting saplings.

To become part of the Yidindji nation it is required that applicants must provide a new name that will be used for their Yidindji citizenship. It can be any name however:

- It must not be offensive
- It must be different to your Australian or UN state name
- It can not be the name of a celebrity or a company
- Self titles will not be accepted
